CompaData ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Splito mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Splito.

We use your data solely to provide the Splito service: synchronising your activities across devices, allowing group members to share expense data, and generating settlement reports.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as required by law.

4. Data storage

Data is stored locally on your device (offline-first) and optionally synchronised to our servers hosted in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.3) and at rest.

5. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Profile screen. Backup copies are purged within 30 days of deletion.

6. Children's privacy

Splito is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
